When Microsoft was searching for a communication and branding partner to promote genuine Windows software on pre-installed laptops, they introduced a unique scheme. Under this scheme, the software was available at a considerable discount when purchased along with the hardware.

The Brief 

To ideate and execute a campaign for Microsoft’s partners, such as ASUS and Acer, to promote and market their flagship products. 

The Insight

As per a study, high-end configuration flagship products of companies like ASUS and Acer usually attract the attention of gamers. Furthermore, behavioural profiling showed that they preferred traveling only to a nearby place to purchase laptops. Here, an opportunity came for Microsoft. Hence, it partnered with ASUS and Acer to offer exclusive deals on their high-end laptops in their local stores. 

The Solution

Firstly, we conducted thorough market research to understand our target audience. Moreover, we analysed customer feedback and data to identify key trends and pain points. Based on this research, we developed a comprehensive strategy to address the needs of ASUS & Acer customers. Finally, we executed the strategy by partnering with Microsoft to provide customers with a great experience.

The campaign was undoubtedly a massive success with ASUS. As a result, Acer, the other outstanding Microsoft partner, adapted to the campaign.
