The Overview
 

When Microsoft looked for a communication and branding partner to promote genuine windows that marketed pre-installed laptops, the unique scheme was that the software was available at a considerable discount when purchased along with the hardware. 

The Brief 

To ideate and execute a campaign for Microsoft’s partners, such as ASUS and Acer, to promote and market their flagship products. 

 

 

The Insight

As per a study, high-end configuration flagship products usually attract the attention of gamers. And behavioural profiling showed that they preferred traveling only to a close by place to purchase laptops.  

The Solution

By analysing the research and insight into customers’ behavioural patterns, we designed and executed a local campaign that employed search ads targeted at users within a specified targeted geography around ASUS exclusive stores.

Campaign Architecture
  • Picked out top-performing ASUS exclusive stores
  • Targeted web searches based on this geography
  • Captured lead details and revealed a promo code for discounts

The campaign was a massive success with ASUS, which Acer, the other outstanding partner of Microsoft, adapted to it.
